You will assist Lawyers responsible for cases related to hacking and personal data theft. Your cybersecurity team will be responsibility to review various aspects related to e-commerce and information technology.

YOUR ROLE:
As a Cybersecurity Legal Assistant, you will support a group of Lawyers specialized in business law. Among your responsibilities, your tasks will include:
Transcribe and prepare various legal opinions;
Prepare client files (correspondence, evidence);
Revise documents and correspondence to verify compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage;
Manage the lawyers’ agenda, ensure civil lead time calculations and follow up of the various deadlines;
Manage phone calls, emails and correspondence;
Manage the opening, the paper and electronic filing, the follow-up and organization of files.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in legal secretarial, Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in secretarial studies or any other combination of relevant training and experience;
Experience as a Legal Assistant;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
Organizational skills and good management of priorities;
Meticulous and attention to detail;
Discretion, good team spirit and sense of initiative.
